Itinerary

DAY 1:5 hours aproximately

Huaraz – Musho – Base Camp.- After breakfast in the hotel we will be transferred to the trail head Musho at 3,100 m.a.s.l., where we will meet our donkey drivers and hike up to the base camp at 4,000 m.a.s.l., overnight camping.

DAY 2 : 5 hours aproximately

Base Camp – Camp 1.- After moderate breakfast in the morning, start hiking to the moraine camp, sometimes rock climbing for about 3 hours, the climbers start climbing the glacier at 5,000 m.a.s.l., and after 2 hours walking in the glacier, arrive to camp 1 and overnight at 5,250 m.a.s.l., camping in the glacier.

DAY 3: 4 hours aproximately

Camp 1 – Camp 2 .- Today, climbers walk to the Camp 2, for about 3 hours, in case there is no other climbers, if there are other climbers, passengers have to make queue for to pass the channel and it will take more hours for about 4 hours to get the camp 2, overnight at 5,950 m.a.s.l., camp in the glacier.

DAY 4 : 8 horas aproximately

Camp 2 – Summit – Camp 2.– Climber start climbing at 3 a.m. after breakfast and hot strong mate de coca, and climbers will succeed the summit at 8 a.m. aprox, then after to stay for adequate minutes or hours, return to the camp 1 and overnight at 5,950 m.a.s.l., camping in the glacier.

DAY 5 : 5 horas aproximately

Camp 2 – Base Camp.- Late in the morning climbers start walking down for about 5 hours, and the climbing teem will meet again with donkey drivers, overnight at 4,000 m.a.s.l.. Camping.

DAY 6: 9 horas aproximately

Base Camp – Musho – Huaraz.- Today the donkey drivers will take the camping gears to Musho where the bus will be waiting and passengers will be transferred to Huaraz, overnight at Hotel in Huaraz
