Pisco Mountain

Itinerary

DAY 1: 4 hours aproximately

Huaraz – Base Camp Pisco.- After the breakfast in the Hotel we will aboard the Bus to go along the Callejón de Huaylas in the north side of Huaraz. Passing different traditional Andean towns, first n Carhuaz (2,650 m.o.s.l.), then Yungay (2,500 m.o.s.l.), from here we have to start going up to the Llanganuco Valley, almost in the base of Huascarán Mountain in its north side, for the entrance to the Llanganuco Valley we will register in the National Parks Control, after we will visit the two lakes of Llanganuco, where we will have Lunch, we will continue going up to the Base Camp of Pisco, if it is not cloud we will appreciate the impression ant peaks of the Mountains, Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Pisco, Huandoy, and others, We will arrive to the base Camp Pisco accompanied by the donkey drivers and mountain staff around 3 p.m. overnight at 4,500 m o.s.l.

DAY 2: 7 hours aproximately

Base Camp – Moreine – Summit Pisco.- Today the breakfast will be at 2 a.m in the morning, And hike for about 3 hours half rocky pathand.. Where we will get the glacier and put our climbing equipments for continue climb, after 4 or 5 hours climbing we will get the summit (5,750 m.a.s.l.), where we will have a splendor views of mountains Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Chacraraju, Artesonraju, Huandoy mountains and others, and after to enjoy for a few minutes we will come dawn to Base Camp, arriving to the Base Camp at 2 pm and just for lunch, overnight camping at 4,500 m.a s l.

DAY 3: 2 hours aproximately

Base Camp Pisco – Huaraz.- After the last breakfast in the base camp of the Pisco Mountain, climbers will descend to Cebollapampa, here will be the Lunch, then immediately will aboard the bus to go back to Huaraz, and after 2 hours driving passengers will arrive to Huaraz.
